I saw a book in the catalog that is listed as being “On Reserve.” What does that mean?

This means that an instructor has requested for that book to be held behind the library’s front desk on the main floor. Most reserves can be checked out for 3 hours at a time; however, some may have longer loan periods based on the instructor’s request. Please visit Course Reserves for more information.
