Why can't I log into a database?

To access the library's electronic resources, including databases, you will log in with your Lander username and password. If you are having trouble accessing our databases, and you are on campus, please check your internet connection and make sure you are connected to the “Bearcat Wireless” network. Our databases cannot be accessed through the “Bearcat Guest” network.

If this does not solve the problem, try opening the database in a different internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.). Some databases have browser-specific connectivity requirements.  If you have any questions or difficulties, you can email library@lander.edu and we will be happy to assist you.
